RED CARD. 
If a Red card is issued in any game, the # 1 umpire should complete this form
 OHIO/US LACROSSE CARDING FORM IS NOT REQUIRED FOR YOUTH OR MIDDLE SCHOOL GAMES.
Middle School Game Standards (2012 Rule changes will be posted when available)

All Divisions
  • 25 minute running clock each half.
  • 5 minute halftime maximum.
  • No clock stoppage except for timeout.* Timeouts may be taken only after a goal or by the team with possession at the time of a whistle. Each team may have one timeout per half. Timeouts are 90 seconds. Umpires may take injury TO's and others as only absolutely necessary.
  • Modified Checking.
  • US Lacrosse Youth Rules - U13
  • 2 Umpires. Umpire fee - $40 per umpire each game
*If time runs out at the end of either half and a direct free position has been awarded in the Critical Scoring Area, the fouled player will be awarded the free position and will have the opportunity to make the shot to end the half/game.

            Points of Emphasis
   • Dangerous shot (towards goalkeeper)
   • Dangerous propelling (towards field players - same or opposing team)(yellow card)
   • Dangerous follow through (yellow card)
   • Dangerous use of stick
   • Shooting space
   • Full checking is NOT ALLOWED.
  
• Monitor 3 seconds closely guarded on all areas of the field. Use visual and audible signal and
    enforce.
  
• Enforce 3 seconds on defense in arc that when not correctly marking
  
• Recognize and enforce offensive fouls - ie backing into defense, etc...
  
• Manage time efficiently - Get game started, manage timeouts and halftime to help games stay on
     track
  
• Each field will have a scorer's "table" and at least one person near the 50 yd. line for timing.
  
• US Lacrosse rules for misconduct shall be used.


If only one Umpire officiates a game, they will be paid one plus one half the per umpire fee as listed in the schedule above.

  • US Lacrosse Youth Rules - U11.
  • 2 Umpires. Umpire fee - $30 per referee, per game. - correct for 2012 
  • If only one Umpire officiates a game, they will be paid $60 (fee to be split by both teams.)
 
C, D Division (3rd and 4th Grade Players) :
  • 4 10 minute quarters, running clock.           
  • 2 minutes at quarter breaks.
  • 5 minute halftime.
  • No clock stoppage except for timeout.* Timeouts may be taken only after a goal or by the team with possession at the time of a whistle. Each team may have one timeout per half. Timeouts are 1 minute. Umpires may take injury TOs and others as only absolutely necessary.         2 pass rule.
  • No Checking allowed.
  • If time runs out at the end of either half and an 8m free position has been awarded, the fouled player will be awarded the direct position and will have the opportunity to make the shot to end the half/game.
  • US Lacrosse Youth Rules - U11.
  • with full field & 11 field players.
  • 2 Umpires. Umpire fee - $30 per referee, per game. - correct for 2012 
If only one Umpire officiates a game, they will be paid $60 (fee to be split by both teams).

•The passing rule will be monitored by host team. Umpires will look for affirmation signal
before acknowledging goal.
•Each field will have a scorer's "table" and at least one person near the 50 yd. line for timing.
•SOGLYA's rules for misconduct shall be used.
•THERE SHALL BE NO FULL CHECKING (FC) GAMES.
